I’ve been in awe of these since I first saw them as I began to venture up North Queensland, at the Buderim Ginger Factory. These particular ones are inspired by Ginger flowers I admired in Cairns, QLD. Naturally the butterflies had to be a part of the illustration as there were butterflies everywhere! I wanted to paint everything in a loose, depictive style, including the butterflies which were so stunning I don’t do them enough justice.
